Women have for too long taken the role of both the feminine and the masculine in the relationships. Because we are so good at doing both- fixing things, holding ourselves together, cooking, cleaning, arranging birthdays, work, put up a shelf... theres no thing we cant do.

But then at the same time we complain that men are not real men. They dont hold us, they are passive and lazy. The list of bad things about them goes on.

In my opinion theres nothing wrong with the men. It is us, the women, that dont let them have space to blossom into their masculine power. If we only could lean back and give him space to be the man in all aspects- to fix things, to take care of the practical stuff, to hold you emotionally… But thats the hard part- to let go of that control...

We have to start to trust that the men holds us, protects us!
